Can miscarriage cause future infertility?

In advance, I'm sorry for the question length, I just want to give as much information I can.

On Dec 31, 2012 had a positive HPT.  On Jan 2, I began having sharp pains shoot through my stomach & into my back, on Jan 3, I started bleeding & passing blood clots. I went straight to the ER. The nurse midwife on call did an exam & internal ultrasound & said I had naturally passed the pregnancy. She also diagnosed an ovarian cyst, & said my cervical Os was opened. I was devastated.
The following week I visited my OB, she gave an u/s & said the cyst was gone. She ordered a blood test to see if I was ovulating, because I wanted to began TTC asap. After the blood work, a week or so later, she said I wasn't ovulating & prescribed Comid. The first cycle I didn't ovulate, but my second cycle I did. I continued Clomid for another 2 cycles, with no conception. :( I began extremely discouraged, so I chose to not continue with the Clomid.
In Jan of this year, my husband & I began to try again, but decided to try conceiving  without medication. I changed all bad habits, & bought a zillion OPKs. Detecting an Lh surge was very hard. Some months I would have a positive result, and others I would get negatives.
In May, we decided we should try herbs and vitamins (prenatal vitamins & Vitex (Chaste Berry) He also began a multivitamin. I also chart my BBT, cycle, & cervical mucus. I start using OPK on cycle day 5 & continue for the rest of my cycle, I have detected the Lh surge both months & begin to make love every other day on cycle day 7. After making love I lay still for 15-20 minutes & try not to pee for a couple more minutes following. Still no luck. I began this cycle on 7-18. I am so frustrated! I've taken every bit of advice (or at least the ones in reason) I have changed my diet, as well as most of my lifestyle. I am a seemingly healthy 27 year old, 5'9" & 145lbs, which is within normal range.
My husband and I have conceived 2 children from prior marriages, so we both can obviously do it, right?
Could the miscarriage result in infertility? (even considering it has been well over a year ago)
Can I regain fertility, or are we just out of luck?
If it can be regained, what herbs are a sister to the prescription  Clomid?

If ANYONE has ANY advice or information I can possibly benefit from, please share! I am so worried I will never enjoy pregnancy again!

Thank you for being patient to read this entire post.

The only test she done was the blood work to see if I was ovulating. She won't order any more. Wants me to continue Clomid.

Well geez,  it sounds like you are doing everything right!  I don't think the miscarriage caused infertility if you passed the pregnancy naturally.  unless a d & c was done by hospital and scar tissue formed.  I would continue on the clomid,  I've heard it can take a few months on it before getting pregnant.  I can suggest a couple more things that might help you... First,  try using preseed.  It's a sperm friendly lubricant.  Second,  don't take any hot bubble baths.  Also,  cut down on caffeine if your a coffee drinker.  I'm sure you will have the baby you want.  You did get pregnant before.  Try and relax and not think about conceiving.  Gl!

How many cycles have you tried clomid? The reason I ask is because I've heard that clomid has the highest percentage of working in the first 6 cycles and declines after that. Also I don't think it's healthy to take for long term conception. Good luck!
