Can't get Pregnant

After I got married I got pregnant right away (I was 41).  My son is now 7 years old and we have been desparately trying to have another child but nothing.  I feel I'm too old now to think about it but I feel so sorry for my beautiful son who has no siblings.  Why wouldn't I be able to get pregnant again and am I too old?

Defiintely do the blood work. I have been through all of the basic fertility testing .   Now,  I am in the process of getting all of the blood work done to see if I am "too old."  I know that is being blunt, but that is basically what my Dr. told me the first round of tests will be this month....  You might have luck with IVF.....

So you're 48 now? Well, age is definitely not on your side. Have you talked to your doctor about it? The first thing that I would want to do is get blood work done to check all your hormone levels and then go from there. Good luck!
