Chance with zero sperm count after chemo for cancer at 4 years old?
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a few years now. We both have recently gone to the drs for testing. Mine came back normal other than a low progesterone level and I was prescribed clomid. I haven’t started taking it yet, awaiting my husbands results which we received yesterday. He had stomach cancer at 4 and had chemo and radiation. Thankfully he is cancer free today, but the test came back as zero sperm. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this kind of situation and were able to regain a sperm count and conceive. Thank you.
I don't know if he can regain some sperm again. If he is able to though, you'll most likely need IVF to conceive. It takes a lot of sperm to get to the egg, not just one - even though just one will eventually fertilize it. I hope you can find some answers. You might need to consider a sperm donor.
