i am planning a 6 hour flight with my husbands sperm in a chilled transport kit (has transport medium added to sample).. It will be used for IVF..
will his sample be fine after 6-7 hours chilled in the transport kit? his SA is normal..

Interesting. I'd heard of frozen sperm being viable when thawed of course, but had never heard that sperm that is just chilled can be viable.
yeah, you can buy the kit at CAN AM Cyroservices. it comes with styrofoam container, the ice pack, and the transport medium (egg yolk buffer).
it is normally used to ship donor sperm overnight via FED-EX. I won't be using FED-EX as it would take 23 hours, so, I will take my hubbys sample on a 6 hour plane ride.
