It does make sense. I am just eady for a BFP. This all becomes so overwhelming after a time.
I mean the sticks tell you when the 24-36 hr. timeframe is, but the monitor SHOWS it to you. Also the monitor shows when you are on your way to oving via the "high fert"-2bars sign & if you want to use the bding rythm method, you can. I really like that is gives you the 2 days for sure, because you see the 3 bars+egg & know this IS the timeframe to dance for sure. Also, I start cramping just b-4 the egg releases...it is a secondary sign for some women & I got that on the 2nd "3bar" day, but unfortunately wasn't able to bd. HOpe this makes sense. ;o)

Me too.....I will just give it some time and PRAY all goes well.
When you say "work better" whatt do you mean?
I've never used anything other than the monitor so I'm not sure.
Ok...so now I'm really hoping that this is working for me. ;o) When I used the regular sticks...they showed I ov'd around the same time as the monitor. Actually the monitor worked better for me this time...at least I think it did. ;o) It showed peak 17/18, but I cramped really bad on day 18, so I assumed that was my actual release day. I'll see how it goes this month. ;o) "E"...hope you can work it out Gf.
Thanks for the information. The monitor is pretty pricey.
If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take before you received your BFP?
Just like the opk's 24-48 hours after surge. FYI though I got pregnant when mine was reading low! My RE couldn't explain it, it just never caught my surge. You have up to 2 days b/c you don't really know if you caght the begining or end of your surge. Good luck with it, mine was just a waste of several hundred dollars at the end :) It was the good old smiley opk's that got me my BFP!
Thanks for your comments. I actually have the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor but wanted to see how I could better determine when I actually ovulated. It shows PEAK times bt how long after PEAK do you actuall ovulate?
I have one. It can be expensive, though. The sticks are a little pricey. It has worked about 50-70% of the time for me. The biggest drawback is that you can only test within the time frame set from the 1st day of use. If you consistently surge at the same time every cycle, it will work great. But, if you have short or weak Lh surges, it may not detect it every time. There are pics of it in my photos.
Personally, I think the digi opks work just as well and are less $$ and can be done when you want to do them.
