Cysts and IVF

Hi girls- as many of you know DH and I are finally going for our 1st IVF in Jan.  Just a quick Q-
I am not PCOS but am prone to ovarian cysts (endometriomas) often large.  Will this inhibit my OI or retrieval?  I kinda think not since sooo many if patients have cysts I sure they deal with this issue all the time.  Just wondering....

SSBD and CONGRATS to all those BFPs out there!!!!

Thanks!!!  I am supposed to start drugs in Jan.  I had a baseball sized cyst removed by lap back in May.  That was really painful but luckily only affected 10 % of my rt ovary.  I told my RE at our consult and he said it was fine..I guess I should just hope for the best!!!  I think staying positive is key to this all!!!!  Congrats on the twins!!!!  That is so exciting!!!!

Hey!  How often do you get cysts?  I don't think they can do retrieval while you have a cyst so if one does happen to show (which it won't :-)  you would have to wait.  When you go in for your consultation you should bring that up and see what your re thinks.  Unless you've already had your consultation and you get to start meds in Jan?
I am sorry to hear you are prone to cysts and I know how painful they can be but on a lighter note how exciting your moving onto IVF!!  I am wishing you all the best!
