I am so sorry about your loss.
I have know of many women with fibroids and fibroid surgery that were able to conceive children. You should talk to your doctor about when it is safe for you to start trying again. Depending on the extent of the surgery and uterine incision will determine when you can try again. With the fibroid gone, you should be able to conceive again.
Wishing you the best and remember to call your doctor for surgical clearance to start trying again.
I just found out that im 6 weeks pregnant and i have a fibroid on my right ovary its about 1 cm now. What problem do you think i will have with this or do i even have a chance.
Hi - I just came across your post. I just had the same surgery on 12/15 and was wondering how you are feeling? I'm at 3 weeks, 3 days and doing ok. A little frustrated that I still can't do anything but relieved to have the fibroids gone. I didn't realize the recovery would be this difficult too. I'm very sorry for your loss - that has to be devasting. But I pray that this will be the answer for both of us. Please let me know how you are doing. Take care.
I have about 10 fibroids, 3 of them size from 4-6 cm, the rest are smaller like 1-3 cm. Couple doctors suggested me to remove them but my RE. There is PRO and CON to remove them, and in my case, I rather leave them alone. It took me 4 yrs to conceive with 1 MC, 1 ectopic. There is nothing to proof fibroids cause infertility, maybe yes, maybe no. I also have male factor and finally, my son will turn 5 months old this Xmas. when I got pg, the fibroid is 10 cm.
It'll take at least 3-6 month to try to conceive after remove the fibroid.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Wish you the best and send you ton of baby's dust.
