Did my first IUI !!!

I have never joined any forim but right now i think i need some support.
I have been trying to get pergnant from last 3 years and taking Clomid from last 3months but to i did my first IUI after they gave me a trigger shot yesterday.
I am hoping it works.
Is anyone else in the same shoes as me??

I was on the shots because with endo u cant be on clomid. we found out i had endo after i had been on clomid for 8 months.  Clomid makes endometrious worse.

First pregnancy was natural jan 2010, i miscarried at 12 wks. Did first iui aug 2010 carried baby 10 wks then mc on oct 18( due dat of 1st baby).  I did a 2nd iui that failed. Did a 3rd iui march 2011 got bfp but mc at 6 weeks. Did a second surgery for endometrious jun 2011. Did 4th iui aug 11 and 5th iui jan 2012.

Note i produced 3 follicles all 17mm or bigger and dh had a sperm count of 180+ million on the 5th iui. Did almost as good for the 4th iui. Dh always has great sperm count.  3rd iui i only had 2 follicles. Second iui i had developed a really bad cold and ear infection.

We adopted two little boys. We did this knowing we were pregnant the 3rd time.  Best decision we made. Those are the two u see in the pictures.

Hi ladies, yes I'm goin to try again, just started my second cycle of clomid n estrogen. Keepin my hopes up.
@ rmmoye u sai u had 2 bfp. But still had 2 more iuis, I'm alittle confused.

Actually my first pregnancy was natural . i mc at 12 wks. 1st iui bfp mc at 10 wks ( due date of first baby.) 3rd iui i mc at 6 wks. I changed RE's because he said he had ran all possible test and my only option was to move to ivf which was 15,000 for 1 shot with him.  I move to a clinic that was 3 hours way but 7500 per ivf. after looking at my file he noticed that sever blood test had not be ran that where normal for recurrent miscarriage. when he ran those he found the problem. i had a clotting disorder. it causes your body to throw a clot and cut off blood flow to baby. and asprin a day or if need be a shot a day will fix this.  I wish u the best of luck. Up until i mc my babies were doing well.  I feel bless that God let me find a dr who could find out my problem.

Tikita-I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work.  Keep your head up, it will happen. Are you trying again?

Sahiba- Any symptoms? I feel lots of mild cramping in my uterine area, am tired and a little dizzy feeling. I am hoping those are good signs but I know they could also be from the progesterone.  One week left!

GL ladies. Tikita the average women takes 4 iuis to get a bfp./ I got one  on my first iui  and my 3rd iui. my second 4th and 5th all failed. I hope all if u ladies get bfps. ( big fat  positives )

Please not that if dh ( darling husband )  has good sperm count then u can bd( baby dance =sex) right before u do the trigger shot and also the day after the iui.  That way if u ovulate early or late then it is caught.

Hi Sahiba, I just had my first iui n I failed it. All I can say to u is try not to think about it too much. It drive me crazy but I'm ok now. I just goin his forum today cu I also need the support. I'm startin my second clomid cycle today.

I am in the same shoes as you.   I have been ttc for over 5 years with unexplained infertility. Did my first IUI on July 26th, so I am in the dreaded 2ww.  I did Clomid on days 3-7, then triggered on day 15.  DH's sperm count was 96mil which is awesome. I have a very large fibroid just outside of my uterus, so my big fear is that implantation will be a challenge.  Trying not to obsess during this tww but I think about it everytime I have slight cramp, go to the bathroom, or any other time I am not fully distracted! :)  Hence why I am on this site at work. :)  This forum has helped me a lot.  Has anyone had success on their first IUI?  Sticky baby dust to you, Sahiba11!
