Failed IVF - confused.

It seems the fertizilation and egg development stages went fine. I had an IVF transfer March 3 only to find out BFN this week. The doctor transferred 3 8-cell embryos. Im 38 and confused as to what happened.
On day 10 post transfer I got brown spotting til mid-Monday. Then normal red blood flow all day tuesday. Wednesday it turned light red and was much lighter, Thursday got even lighter. Friday no bleeding but BFN. Did I drop all three, how do I know where something went wrong. Any help or advice would be great.

thanks for your response Annie! I have had a blood test that came out negative but on the same day I did a HPT that came out positive so I have a retest but talking to one of my friends in the medical field, she said blood tests are ultimate and give more accurate results. So I feel its a negative. I have been told I have blocked tubes but I heard implantation problems can be linked to fluid buildup in tubes or infection....so I want my dr to address all my concerns before I do FET. the problem is the clinic called me with a date to see the doctor May 2.....they want me to wait 1 1/2 months just to discuss the negative results! very dissappointing....

I don't think you can ever know what went wrong when embryos didn't implant.  Was there a problem with the embryo itself or with the implantation process?  Only your RE can give you any ideas, and even then it's been my experience that they can't tell you anything much for sure.  Have you had a blood test by now that confirms the negative?
