Frozen Embryos - What are the chances?

I just found out that I have a BFN on my second round of IVF.  They transferred 4 beautiful embryos at day three (all 8 cells)  and froze two after they went to blast on day 5.  The two that were frozen were not as beautiful as the four that were transferred but they were not bad.  I have high fsh by the way.  

The doctor wants to transfer the two frozen as soon as we can.  My question is how well do frozen embryos do?  I have had my hopes so crushed.  I need the truth - no sugar coating.  I am going to try but I just feel like I need to be honest with myself so that my expectations won't be so high.  Seriously - what have your experiences been with frozen (old eggs) embryos.

Congratulations to you!  I will pray for you.  My husband and I were so hoping for twins.

So did you get two sets of twins?  And how old are you?

i did a frozen cycle with two - and had twins
a frozen cycle with three and nothing (but my lining nor doc were very good)
a frozen with two (one cruddy)  and Pg but miscarried
and a frozen with three and preggo with twins

I'm very sorry about your BFN.
When I did my only frozen cycle I had 3 embies.2 thaw perfectly and the 3rd one so and so.
They transfered all 3 but I got a BFN.
There are few ladies though who were in this forum and got pregnant with frozen embies.

I think that if they thaw your embryos and they are OK after that, then the chances are close to a fresh cycle.  However, thawing rate is not 100% although it's pretty high (like 80% for a good lab) for blasts.
