HSG Cost

How much does HSG cost? I just got my account summery of HSG and it says $996.
Is that true?
We are not sure, how much do we have to pay after insurance coverage.
Thanks for some input!

Hi,
My HSG went well, everything is clear.
My DH has low count and I am really hoping to get preg naturally.
We are trying for almost a year now but no luck!
Thanks for your help!

hi, I just wanted to say that my insurance paid for mine as well.. even though it covers NOTHING as far as fertility pills or fertility treatment.  I hope that helps. lol.  Most insurance companies pay for it and like mine it pays to see what's wrong, but it won't pay to GET me pregnant. lol. Thank goodness it pays for pregnancy once I'm pregnant though.  lol.  The only thing I had to pay was my outpatient copay :).    Good luck to you!!

How did the HSG go?  Everything okay?  :)   I hope so!  Take Care. :)

Mine was $1180. I have heard of them being less but that was the hospital closest to me, others are over 2 hours away so not sure if it varies. My ins. in the end did pay 80% of mine but I didn't know if they would so I found this out before hand. Good luck to you.
