I don't think I'm ovulating:(

Hi all, feeling pretty discouraged. I was currently on day 47 of my cycle, no period, but also negative hpt. I got my period today. I go see my obgyn on march 14th, pretty sure I haven't ovulated the past 4 months. Just want a baby. My cycles has been 34 days oct through dec, but this last one was 47 days. Not quite sure what's going on with my body.

I've been taking the ovulation tests daily, but haven't gotten a positive result yet. Since we've only been trying for 5 months, my obgyn wants to wait until another month before starting anything, so I go see him in march:(

Have you spoke to docs about clomid? I have just finished my first course no ovulation as yet but progesterone level is close to 5 so looks gd for next cycle speak to them :-) x

hi Christina - just wanted to drop a note that all went well today. based on my blood work from this morning i am preggers! I am going for my first ultrasound this coming Friday.  I hope this is it! i am so excited.  Best of luck to you and please let me know what your doctor says about IUI treatment for you. good luck

have you been taking ovlation tests every day to help see if your ovlating x

My ob is also a fertility specialist so hopefully he'll have an idea of where we should go from here. Ill have to mention IUI then;) thanks for the suggestion, hope your follow up on Monday goes well;)

hi Christina.  I have a condition that prevents my body for having cycles all together :( .... i have been like this since i was 17 years old. I tried IUI with failed results. I just had my first IVF, but it doesn't look good and i have to go back on Monday for a follow up and see where my hormones are.
Have you thought about seeing a fertility specialist?  Perhaps IUI will help you ovulate, it's relatively simple.  Best of luck to you. Keep us posted.
