Me and DH just came back from the RE and I tell you he probably thought I was in med school or something cause I had a full sheet of some very good questions!!  My DH was like they are gonna sa how you know so much!!  It's because of YOU ladies.

After my last loss earlier this year, I came across this site and it has helped me in so many ways.  Of course by knowing that I am not alone in this and all the information  you can gather in one day!!!  I would have never know to ask about checking for antibodies, or prolactin levels, PGD and RPL (recurrent pregnancy loss panel which I saw today).  

Just wanted to say that I love you all in Christ and I pray for all of us all the time to receive our miracles.

Yes, isn't this a great forum?  I've learned so much from everyone and try to help when I can.  It's hard to believe that up until the time I've been on here I didn't know that lubricants kills sperm, the egg dies within 12-24 hrs, and we all don't ovulate on CD14. Plus, I had never even used the word Progesterone, except for seeing some term on my BC pill pack.  Now I know what my actual level is LOL.  I also have other job descriptions to add to my resume, I'm now an analyst (chart analyst) a urine specimen collector and a POAS addict LOL.

i have had 5 mc in the past year and a half, i am not ttc but did see that there was a recurrent loss panel? can you tell me more?

I actually got the RPL info from baby1234!!!!  She posted a comment to my post. They do a whole string of bloodwork to see the reason that you may be having m/c's.  My husband had his chromosomes checked today after we met with the RE.  I will have mine done next week and then we both will go in for more bloodwork after the HCG clears out of my system.  They check for antibodies, the clotting disorder and any chromosomal issues you may be having.  There may be more, but we'll find out when we go back.

I'm so happy that I finally got some anwers due to this site!!  He is pushing us to try IVF cause he said we will have a good success rate due to age.  We're are leaning towards it at this point.  WE WILL BE ADDING TO THE FAMILY IN 2008!  Speak Life!!!
