IVF Process - 1st Timer

What suggestions could anyone give me about the IVF process? So far I had the genetic/dna testing on both hubby and I. I also had blood work for the past two cycles. Now in the next month will be doing an examination of my uterus with it being filled with water. My insurance pays for 10,000 in IVF and medication is included so I hope we are getting close to beginning the procedure because I am ready. I just want to know what is the whole process and am I almost there?

Aetna is my insurance but it has extra infertility benefits.

I am not sure about that. My insurance covered some of the medication for me but that was about it. For the most part, our expenses were out of pocket.

I paid for the donor's medication, which was the most expensive, but everything that she had to do was done within that month. I forgot to mention also that we also started taking birth control at the same time late December so that our bodies/cycles could be in sync. The nervousness for us came after the transfer because we had to wait over a week to know if it was a success.
I had to take injections in my abdomen for a couple of weeks prior to the transfer. The week of the transfer I started my progesterone shots in my butt and I just stopped taking them about two weeks. I must admit they are something serious. But knowing it was for a worthy cause is what kept me going.

It wasn't a very long pocess for me at all. My husband and I used an egg donor and selected a donor from the list about six months earlier. Once I told my doctor around mid December that we were ready, it was off to the races from that point. My hubby and I went in for the initial consult on 12/26 and he also gave a sperm sample for testing. January 1 was the kickoff for the official process, to include me and the donor starting our meds. The egg retrieval occurred on either 1/21 or 1/22 (I can't remember), and we arrived at the office on 1/27 for the transfer.
