IVF STIMS- WHAT IS YOUR DOSAGE?

Just want to know from those doing IVF right now or recently what your stimulation protocol was? ( Medication and Dosage) and what was the result on your follies please. I really would like to see the normal range of meds to measure my options  . Thanks ! XOXO CIndy

Hi, I just did my first ivf last month, unfortunately bfn, but I had 20 follies, 17 retrieved, 12 fertilized, 10 embies, 3 transferred and 7 frozen...I'm doing FET in July... I am 44 in two weeks and I did 450 units of gonel-f and 10 iu of lupron 2xper day.  Good luck to you!

hello i am an older lady doing ivf so was put on the short protocol. I am 40 (nearly 41) and had successful ivf in april but unfortunetly I miscarried at 7 weeks. For my stimm medication I was on 6 lots of menopur(made 2 injections) and 1 injection of buserelin each evening for about 10-12 days. I produced 6 eggs, 4 fertilized and you know the rest.We are trying natuarly now for few mths but will have one more ivf attempt in august if nothing happens.all the best to youxxx melissa

In 2008 I did 10iu lupron , 25iu Follistim  and  luveris(cant remember dose) for 10 days. I had 15 eggs retrieved all mature  11 fertilized 3 made it to Blastocyst. Implanted 2 ok quality 3BB & 4BB and I have a 19 month old son from that IVF.

I was on Gonal F 75u, Menopur 75u, and Lupron 5u. I was dropped down to 37.5 on menopur and Gonal F the 3rd day of usage. I ended up with 18 eggs, 6 embryos, 2 transferred and supposed to find out soon how many made it to freezing stage.

I just finished my first ivf - waiting for betas now.  I was on the long lupron protocol.  I was on 10u lupron and 225U Bravelle in the am and 150u menopur in the evening for 11 days.  I had 27 eggs retrieved and 20 fertilized, 2 transferred and none frozen.  The number of eggs can change according to the protocol but is highly dependent on your ovarian reserve and how you  personally respond to meds.  The exact protocol may or may not work for another person.  Best of luck.,

I did one in May (BFP this cycle... 5w1d pg)

My FSH was Puregon @ 300 units. My antagonist was Orgalutran. My Trigger was Ovidrel. I am 37 & living in Australia.

My first cycle the dose was 125 units and resulted in two eggs that did not fertilise due to some disinterested sperm...so the dose was increased and the sperm injected for the next two cycles:

1) 11 eggs, 10 injected (ICSI), 8 fertilised, 2 non viable. 3 did not make it to blastocyst. 1 transferred (BFN) 1 frozen (did not defrost successfully), 3 unsuitable for freezing.

2) 9 eggs, 8 injected, 8 fertilised, 3 did not make blastocyst, 1 transferred (BFP!!), 2 frozen, 2 not suitable for freezing.

My IVF in 2008 was Menopur/ Bravelle (2/2) . What i did before was mirco dose to make sure we didn't have OHSS but this will be different RE and I'm not sure really what the norm is right now. I'm also 37 now and not 34 but I stimulate well

I am on the strong meds now...but my first IVF I was doing 225 gonel f & one of the menopur.
