Implantation Bleeding

L'T
I would like to know I have read so many things on implantation bleeding. Most say that it happens 6-12 days ofter ovulation i have also heard it can happen as early as 2 days after intercourse if u are ovulating at the time of intercourse and the sperm meets the egg and fertilizes. can u please tell me what you all have heard or experienced. the reason i am asking is because i had intercourse that was not withdrawed which is the method me and boyfriend are using right now due to i was on the patch for 4 yrs and had 2 ectopics after stopping it so we want to give my body a rest and witdrawl period from the hormones. not trying to get preg but if it happens i will be ok and happy with it. especially after loosing 2 by ectopics back to back as a result i had my left tube removed. anyway intercourse 4/16 went to the bathroom 4/23 wiped there was pink discharge on the tissue good amount after that nothing never happened again just that once. i was due to come on either 5/5 or 5/7 i think 5/5 usually every 28 days lmp 3/7/07 -3/10/07. nothing yet just some spotting after intercourse which sometimes happens afterwards. all responses appreciated..

Thanks... and yes it was very hard... and as a result of me dealing with it i told them i wanted them to remove my left tube because i literally could not go thru that again. I have 4 kids from a previous marriage so I'm happy but I would like to have one with my boyfriend. I have read so many different stories on implantation bleeding and i think the internet makes a situaton worse than what it really is cause u read so many different stories and other peoples experiences. but i will keep you posted. thanks again

Thanks for the condolences.  It's been a difficult couple of months to say the least.  My husband and I are not actively trying yet, but we are planning to start in a couple of months or so.  Losing a baby at any stage is hard and everyone experiences the pain/loss differently.  I'm sure having two ectopics was also difficult for you.  Back to your original question....you know, they say so many different things about implantation bleeding.  It's different for everyone, but you also know your body.  If you're paying attention to your cycles and know what's normal for you and what's not...go with your gut feeling.  Your intuition may be more accurate that anything else because it's your body.  I've heard inmplantation can happen sooner than the 6-12 dpo, but i think it's rare.  Again, good luck and let us know how things turn out.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss, I cannot say I know how that feels cause I could never imagine loosing a child, I mean its one thing loosing a baby in early pregnancy and 2 ectopics back to back but I could never imagine the pain of loosing a baby @ 33 wks. Are you trying now? I did have a cycle in April sorry if I left that out I came on 4/7 my cycles are 28 days, i have had implantation bleeding i think with 2 of my pregnancies but at the time i did not know thats what it was just more info out here now. I have read of stories of it happening that soon and when it happened i dont know why i just auto thought implantation bleeding but i just wanted to see who else out there may have an opinion on it.

I don't know exactly what to tell you.  Implantation bleeding is different for everyone and my understanding is that it only occurs in about 30% of pregnant women.  If you noticed spotting on 4/23 and your due for AF around now, that seems like it would have been too early for implantation bleeding.  But anything is possible.  I had implantation bleeding with my last and only pregnancy (my baby was still born at 33 weeks).  I think for me, implantation bleeding occured a couple of days before i was expecting AF...it was just  a little bit of brown spotting on toilet tissue once or twice.  Do you have regular periods?  I ask because you mentioned that your last period was at the beginning of march and it's may...you also stated you have 28 day cycles...did you have a period in april?  In any case, if you're due for AF right around now, go ahead and take a HPT, an early result one should be accurate by now.  Good luck and i hope you get the answer you want.
