Implantation Pain or Ovarian Cyst?

My husband and I are trying to conceive. I am 30 and I think I ovulated 6 days ago. I now have sharp pains in my left ovary (sometimes strong pains when I walk, but subside when I sit).

I have read a little about implantation pains. Could this be the cause?
Also read about ovarian cysts. Not sure what's going on!

You get cramps with implantation same as what you get before af arrives. Pain is something different. Hold on for a week and take a pregnancy test.

Is your pain there all the time?
Mine is dull most of the time, but then sometimes it is sharp, right in the left ovary area. Been here for about 3 days now.

Mine started about 4 days after ovulation.
How about you?

The pain is there all the time, like a dull ache/cramp. Doesn't feel like AF cramps though, as it is direct in the left ovary. I felt a slight cramp in my right ovary today for a minute or so.
Will definitely take a pregnancy test next week as AF is due next Sat. Just impatient and want to know what this pain means. If pregnancy test is negative, will go to doctor for ultra sound :( hopefully not a cyst. Never had one before.
