One kidney and ivf

Specialist told me I have a non functioning kidney because i have pain on my left side every month and for years it's ether i remove it or risk getting infection or other medical complications. Question is if I remove it will I be able to do ivf because I'm left with one tude and it doesn't work because I had an octopic pregnancy it damage my tude and it was removed the remaining one doesn't work and I don't have children

Hm, this doesn't sound quite right.  How were you diagnosed with a non functioning kidney?  What kinds of tests did they do?  This would not affect pregnancy.  Your reproductive organs are separate from your kidneys.  :>)  So, why do you think you'd not have a fallopian tube?  And one tube and IVF are not a problem as with that, they PLACE the embryo rather than naturally occurring conception where it can take place in the tube (ectopic pregnancy).  Women with one kidney can have children.  However, I would discuss your desire for kids with your doctors so everyone is on the same page.  good luck
