Re: federal law fertility mandate - found site to write to your congressman about it

I put this in a new post because I wanted to make sure everyone who read the last one saw this too.  I found a website where you can write your congressman regarding this bill.  Personally, I write my congressman all the time about lots of things, and I find that whenever I do a generic form like this, I don't get a response.  So I just google him and go directly to his website, they all have contact info to email them, and I cut and pasted what was on this website in an email to the congressman directly - but you can probably do either.  Here is the website:

If you guys are interested, I thought I'd save you all some time!  I just emailed everyone I thought might do this for me, and I'd advise you all to do the same so we can really make a difference here and maybe get this thing passed!  I'm putting the email I sent out below, to save you some time if you want to email it to people you know!

Hey everybody!
I have a quick favor to ask of you all.  As some of you may or may not know, many insurance companies exclude coverage for many, if not all, fertility treatments.  There are many couples out there who pay perfectly good money for insurance policies, but end up having to bankrupt themselves in order to try to conceive.

In 2005 a bill was introduced to mandate that insurance companies pay for these treatments - here is a link for the bill if you'd like to read it - http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h109-735
As far as my research goes, it has merely been "introduced" and nothing more.  There are two websites below.  One is a petition to get this bill moving, and the other is a link to fill out a generic letter regarding this issue, which will be forwarded to your congressman.  I ask that you please take 2 minutes (literally, probably less!) of your time to sign the petition and the letter to your congressman, and also to forward this email to anyone who you think would be willing to do the same.

how many posts can I post on my own question!  I meant to say, for those of you who may not know, you can just highlight the email part above and copy and paste it into your own email!  - most of you probably know that but I thought I'd mention it.
