Hello ladies

I'm soon to be starting my 3rd IVF (cycle shut down meds starting on 30th Aug) and want to create a group for anyone in the same situation, and who want to join this thread to support one another through this tough process.

Well, a bit of bad news - my RE told me today that none of my remaining embryos made it to freeze :(  Since this is our third try and we're paying out of pocket, if this cycle doesn't work, we're out.  I'm trying to remain positive still, but it would have been nice to know that there was a backup plan...

Cheekyhalfs - That's an impressive number!  You guys must be so thrilled!

NightsColdKiss - LOL - I am now thoroughly convinced to TAKE a test instead of wait, since you are!  I'm taking one tomorrow morning for sure now!  That will be it though, because if it's negative, I can still convince myself it's just too early.  If I do any after Tuesday, a positive should probably should be showing up on by then, and I don't any more bad news quite yet.  And that cracks me up about secretly wanting to see what a positive looks like - me too!!!  I've never, ever had one.  Hopefully we'll both see them in the next few days :)

Ah I can see why you were disappointed :( but,I really hope though you can still get 2 good  embies for replacing. I'm crossing everything for you :) and hope for a good fertilisation report.

I hope you don't mind me updating you on things with us....today's beta (our 2nd) came back at 1424!! Am in shock :)

Had my retrieval today. Totally is appointed. Out of 12 follicles they only managed o retrieve 4 eggs. Dr tied o flush ou 4 times but e little tinkers wouldn't budge. So we have 4, 2 o hich were very dark so theyont hold much hope. 1 was Ok and the 4 very good.

Fingers crosses I get 2 good embryos  my transfer on Wednesday

thisistheyear - woohoo for being beta buddies :)  I've been POAS since trigger shot...lol i bought some of these cheapies off amazon that had really good reviews.  i did it mostly just to test trigger out of system (secretly i wanted to see what a BFP would look like as i've never seen one before lol) i've had bfn for the last 3 days so i know trigger is completely out of my system.  I had a very vivid dream last night of getting a BFP but this morning was so disappointed when i saw nothing...lol oh well :) still early i guess!

suzi - sorry to hear that you only have 1, but like the other ladies said, you only need one golden one :) good luck!!

Ah Hun, I know you must be really disappointed cause if we are all honest we all would be if that were us. But there's a lady I'm friends with on here and only one was suitable for transferring on the day and she is now 15 weeks pregnant, so it certainly was a golden one for her, and I pray your one is too! Keep us posted, will be thinking of you.
