Surgery before IVF

Hi-
In January, I went through my first cycle of IVF and it was unsucessful. During the pre-testing, it was discovered that I had uterine cysts. Around 1-1/2 months before embryo transfer, I had them removed. Could that have effected me getting positive results? I am currently on my 2ww for my 2nd cycle and it has been completely different than my first cycle. Can you shed some light? Thanks!

I'm not sure if the surgery could have affected the cycle or not...but I would think you'd be much better off having the polyps removed than leaving them there. Best of luck with your current IVF! Hopefully this will be the one for you!

Sorry. I meant polyps- not cysts. I think I've been reading too much!
