Taking an early pregnancy test after IUI and clomid

Hello,
I had an IUI on Oct. 7th, I was on clomid day 5-7. I had a Ovidrel shot on Oct.5th. I am on progestrone suppostories twice a day.  I am getting my blood test this Thursday Oct.21 14 days later.
Can I take an early pregnancy test? Or will give a false postitive?

I am dying to know if I am pregnant. This 2wwks is killing me now. I did well but now with two days to go, I want to scream. My nipples are sore and I am eating all the time but other than that no symptoms. I am trying NOT to be anxious.

This is my first IUI.  The cycle was a good one, my husband had good motility and high volume.
I need to vent and chat. Anyone take an early pregnancy test or I am just wasting my time and money.

Hello Ladies.
I took two pregnancy test day 12 and day 13 both came back negative. I have my blood test tomorrow. Not holding onto much hope:(

Hi ladies... with my experience the hcg shot was out of my system in 11 days, but my doc said it could normally take up to 14 days depending on how your body metabolizes.

I also did my first IUI this month, clomid and Ovidrel shot. I did my shot on the 4th and IUI on 5th and 6th. I started testing early (Friday) and got a slight positive. I tried to remember this could be false so I tested every day after that and it continued to get darker. My understanding is if it gets darker you are pg. If it gets lighter, it is the Ovidrel still leaving your system. I say you can test by now, my Dr said it stays in your system 10-12 days so I think you should be more than ok!
