Temp Back Up. Fallback Rise???

I had a very low bbt on Sunday of 96.3
Monday 97.5
tuesday 97.6
wednesday 97.6
** thought after three days of higher temps I must have ovulated Sunday.

...Thursday, shot down very unexpectedly to 97.1
Today, Friday, back up to 97.5

This is my latest update. I have no idea when or if I ovulated. Is this cycle a bust? Anyone know what's going on. I've recently been informed about fallback rises, but from what I've read, these happen at 2-3 dpo, not 4-5.

Anyone experience this, or know what might be going on?

I am on CD37 so I'm def. ready to get this show on the road! Thanks, Heather

Sorry I wasn't around to see your post. Yep, I'd say that's what it is. It's not too uncommon to see fluctuations every now and then in the Lp. I usually get one "dip" or drop then it recovers. There's a lot of hormonal goings on during that time.  Take a peek at my chart this cycle and you'll see two drops that had me worried. It recovered today, but it doesn't give me much faith for this late in the cycle to be doing that.

Remember, with bbt it's never what one or two temps do. It's the whole chart and over all patterns that are read. You can really drive yourself batty putting too much on one or two temps.
