Took Clomid, day 13, still neg OPK

Hi, its been a while since I was TTC but back after a failed IUI in Feb. I'm not being medically monitored so I have NO idea what's going on. My gyn wrote me the Clomid by the way. I've been cramping since I stArted Clomid ( days 3-7 ) and naturally it dries up my cervical mucus so I am relying on Opks now. I am on day 13 and I've gotten both slight pos to a neg. I am told there can be false pos but not negatives with Clomid.  I am older and usually do meds when I cycle but this is frustrating since I'm trying at home with a known donor and I hope an LH surge will come this weekend. My cycles have gotten a little goofy the past yr but they are normally 28-32 days. I alsO have 2 small cysts on my right ovary according to my gyn and an ultrasound I had 3 wks ago. I had already started Clomid when I got the phn call. Soooo, has anyone been mislead by Clomid and OPKs and am I wise to still rely on them? Is the LH usually delayed from Clomid or is it not effected? Thank u in advance,

Ok. I had sex last night and got a pos OPK this morning, today is day 14 which seems about right. I Am going to baby dance again tonite or tomorrow to be sure. I hate this medication though, No sex drive, no cervical discharge and vaginal dryness. Blah, I prefer natural cycles but I don't always ovulate anymore if I go natural. And I can't do injections unless I'm being monitored. Do any of u ladies notice these side effects with Clomid?

With Clomid you usually don't ovulate until cycle day 15-18. I'm also on Clomid and I got my positive on a clear blue easy digi test on Thursday night. I took a test Thursday morning that was negative and since I had this happen before I now test twice a day so I won't miss my surge. This is my 3rd cycle on Clomid.
