Tubal bypass?

Has anyone heard of a tubal bypass? Is this the same as IVF? I did a search on it and the two seem to be linked. I am going for my 4th IUI on Friday and the doctor mentioned to me today that if this IUI doesn't work then we might need to look at moving to doing a tubal bypass. I have endometriosis and my OB/GYN removed it and the scar tissue back in February so I started out doing the IUIs "clean" so to speak. But now my Reproductive Endo. seems to act like there is quite possibly more scar tissue than previously thought or that there is some type of problem with the tubes. I've already told him that I cannot afford IVF so I don't know if this tubal bypass is the same thing or not. Any help/comments would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

You're so funny! I hope it really is my turn. I'm afraid it'll never happen. I really don't get this whole "tubal bypass" comment though because they did the dye test the hyster-whatever the heck it is test, and my tubes were both open. I'm so confused. Maybe he was just talking out of his a - -
