Waiting for IUI results

I recently had my 1st IUI. I was inseminated on Wed and then again Thurs. I had follistim injections up until IUI, and had trigger shot on Thurs. Today I had sono done, and I have 7 eggs. I am to start progesterone supp tonight and take 2x a day. I need to go on March 4th for bloodwork. I am soo nervous but excited at the same time. I have gone for 2 accupuncture treatments and i have another one thurs. Had anyone has any circumstances close to mine? If so, how do you think my chances are?

I just had my first IUI on friday. i did 50mg of clomid 2 x a day and then did a trigger on the wednesday night before friday. WHy did you have a sono today after the IUI? I had one on weds to check my lining but they never checked my eggs. I had 4 follicles prior to IUI and i'm hoping I ovulated all of them. When i asked the sono technician, she said if i had a trigger it is 99% certain you ovulate them but who knows... i wish they would have checked. I go for my blood test next wed feb 24 and i am just PRAYING for a BFP. I also did acupuncture but a few months ago. I should have done it this week as well. argh. anyway - good luck and lots of baby dust!!

Hi.  I just wanted to give you some support as you are now in the 2WW.  I am going to be having my first IUI in just a few days.  I'm not on injectibles though (Femara only with a trigger shot and progesterone).  

From all of the reading I've done and questions I've asked doctors and such, it sounds like the consensus is IUI success rates are between 6 & 15% each cycle, with about a 30% chance of conception over three or four cycles.  I hope you don't have to do that many to get your baby!  Best wishes.  Keep us posted.
