What does this mean?
So..my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year. He just had some tests done and found out that he has a hydrocele, granuloma, and cyst in his right testicle. What does this mean? We have just started fertility treatments and we are not sure if any or all of these could be the reason for our unsuccessful results in getting pregnant. Do any of these affect fertility?
Did they do a semen analysis? That would tell you alot. My hubby has double varicoceles (one in each testicle). He has good count and motility, but poor morphology. Morphology determines the shape/form of the sperm. For example if they are abnormal forms they may have two heads, two tails, no tails, etc. After they do a regular semen analysis and if there is an issue with morphology they will have him do a strict morphology test. I would imagine a hydrocele is in the same family as varicocele, but I am not sure how it affects fertility. Does he need surgery? Have you have a full consult with your Dr since the tests? If not I would recommend sitting down and getting more answers. Good luck!
I am sorry you are going thru this. I don't know what they mean. Have you googled them or asked your Dr? What did he say?
