YEAH AGAIN!!!!

It was graded an 8 B!  I can't believe it!  I guess my old eggs can come through sometimes!  Will find out 12/31!  What a way to start the new year!  Keep praying!  Transfer was on Sat at 6:45.  I had to lay flat for 24 hours.  How long does it take to implant?

I googled it and had assisted hatching which should improve my chances of implantation.  I am 2dpt, so hopefully, things are happening.  My I have an upset stomach and feel bloated right now.  Fingers are crossed!

OK!  Next question!  I paid for assisted hatching.  Does that have anything to do with what yall are talking about with the hatching or is assisted hatching just have to do with fertilization before transfer?

Hi, this is my first post.  I've been reading this forum for the past couple days and I'm so grateful for it and to all of you because I have gotten so much information from it.  Just reading everyone's posts has given me a sense of calm and it's nice to know that I'm not alone in this. It's great to see everyone supporting each other through everything.

This is my first IVF and I had a 3dt on Thursday, 12/17 with 3 embryos.  My beta is scheduled for 12/28 and I'm counting down the days!  It has been an emotional roller coaster for me the past week and I'm trying to hang in there until 12/28.

4Angie, we're just a couple of days off from each other! :-)

I found the info below on another site:

http://www.fertilethoughts.com/forums/ivf-high-tech/470535-what-happens-once-embryos-transferred.html

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT

I would think that 8b means it was an 8 cell & graded B.
Sound good to me..........good luck.

I think different REs use different grading systems, so it' really hard to compare online...but based on your original post, it sounds like your RE thought 8b is a great grade, so I would just go by that! By the way, the above timeline mommyof3 posted was accurate for me too. I didn't check for a few days before then, but I got my BFP around 9 dpet (also a five-day transfer, though). Best of luck!!!

Hmmmm, not sure.   See if you can find something on google.  Sounds good to me.  Did your RE say it was good?  OHHHH good LUCK!!!  SSBD!!!

What day transfer did you have....3?  I have this timeline from another forum.  I swear, after I got my BFP, this timeline was right on.  I got my faint BFP on 6dp5dt.  On day 6 it says it starts to secrete HcG in the blood system is what it says and I think that is right on!  So, this reflects what happens after a 5 day transfer.  So I would add two days to each day past ovulation for you.  This person had a timeline for 3 day transfers and I am still looking for it.  If I find it I will post it!
