can i get pregnant??

For the past two years my husband and I have been trying to conceive baby #2 but haven't had any luck. I went to the Dr and was told if I lose some weight I may get pregnant. Ever since I had my son back in 2007 my periods have been really irregular so I don't ovulate every month. Well I have been eating healthy and exercising and I've lost 17 pounds in a month! Are there any of you that have had the same problem and got pregnant after losing weight??

Ask your dr about doing an "HSG". That's the test where they inject fluid into your uterus and it goes all the way to the ovaries, while looking at the radiology stuff to make sure the paths are clear.

It's how I found out about my uterine polyps, which were preventing me from conceiving. Now I have 2 healthy little boys : )

Sounds like you have PCOS Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. It *****.. horribly and messes up your metabolic system. I was infertile for seven years and practically gave up trying.. I lost 10 pounds and the next thing I knew, I was pregnant. Miraculously I did it without being on ANY meds. I am currently 30wks pregnant with baby number two! Talk with your OB

My boyfriend and i tried to conceive for 2 years before we stopped trying but didnt try to avoid pregnancy. I weighed about 205 when we begin trying. I slowly lost weight and when i hit about 175 i got pregnant. But it took about 4 years from the day we started trying. Our daughter is 6 months old now and im 10+3 with our second baby

Hi, Just a note to make sure you're eating enough calories (good food, not less of it) and exercising at a healthy amount. A lack of calories or too much exercise can cause irregular cycles.

I had trouble getting pregnant with my first child. I saw a fertility specialist, who did a test and figured out that I had polyps inside my uterus. Polyps removed, and two months later I was pregnant.
