evaporation lines
Just wondering if evaporation lines can appear before the 10 minute time frame? I took an equate brand preg test with fmu this morning, also took a preg test strip from early pregnancy tests.com and they both had a 2nd line. To me, they look just like an evap line, but they appeared before the time limit. BTW, i'm 12dpiui today. I really don't trust the pregnancy strips. Before you could see a line on the strip, and now several hours later, it just looks almost like a dent in the test. The equate brand is barely even visible anymore. I just don't trust either result. Does anyone know if there is a test that doesn't have evap lines? I have heard that frer doesn't have them. Is this true? What about like a $ tree test? Last month, i had light positives on those until af showed, but i also injected double the dose of the hcg shot on accident! So that's why i think i kept getting those positive's with those. This month, i wasn't such an idiot, and i did the shot right. I'm getting frustrated with these stupid tests, i wish i had enough control to just not take them. But it's very hard when your so close to the end of your 2ww. Any help or advice would be appreciated! Thanks girls!
Thanks tina, but unfortunately, i got 2 BFN this morning! :( So i will expect af tomorrow or thursday.
I'd try again with a FRER (first response early result). It's the only brand I have ever used that has never given vague or inaccurate results for me. Also, never had an evap. Have had evaps on just about every other brand I've used. Digi's are great, but usually won't say "pregnant" until Hcg is over 50. Good luck, it really sounds promising!
You are just way to sweet. I realy do hope you get your BFP, although I truely believe you already got it!!!! Just go get that test and take it. I will be waiting ofr your BFP!!!
I've been trying to respond to you now for 20 minutes, my computer keeps kicking me off! I wanted to tell you thank you! It's the hardest thing i've ever had to go through, God really does give you strength when you need it! I don't know how i would've made it through all of this without the support and love i get from this website. All the girls on here are so sweet, and always there when you need them. It's so funny that i just came across this website one day, and have been on everyday since then. You are not selfish to feel that way, why do you think i'm on here all the time! Thank you so much for being here for me when i really needed someone, i'll always be here for you too! I really do appreciate you taking the time to comfort me!
I am so sorry. I had no clue you had a still born. Oh man, that's tough. I'm sure you are PG if it has been that long and you are getting those faint lines. Take the digital and let me know what you get. I will be praying for you. I am so sorry you had to go through all that. You are more than welcomed to unload on me, this may sound selfish, but helping others with their problems helps to keep my mind off my own. So, I am here for you.
Yes i did take an hcg shot. I took it May 5th at 10 pm, so that would've been 14 days ago. I feel so depressed, i've been an emotional wreck all day! I miss my baby, I have the biggest void in my life without having her here! I feel i cannot move on until i'm pregnant again, and the baby is not stillborn like my daughter was. She just turned 5 months this past saturday, why am i not pregnant yet!! We've been ttc since i got my first period after having her in feb. I know it's only been 3 months, but i just feel so empty! I can't explain it! Sometimes i swear i still feel her kick me. Sorry to unload on you like this, i've just been crying all day b/c she's not here and i know i'm just setting myself up for a bfn by testing like this and over analyzing these tests, i just want to be preg again so bad!!! I don't understand why God is making me wait....
yes, they are Early Pregnancy Test. I believe Clear Blue Easy is the best one, or I've been told. Not always. I have 2 kids and both times I never read on teh stick until I was 9 weeks. NEver knew why until my first IVF when I got my BFP and the DR said my numbers were low, but they were there. Then it doubled every 2 days liek it was suposed to. SO, then I asked if that is why I don't register and she said it could just be the way my body is. If teh digital detects any amount of the hormone in your body (like enough to produce a light line) it will say pregnant. Then you will have your awnser. Have you been taking HCG? If so when was your last shot? I heard it takes it 10-12 days to leave your system. So, if it has not been that long I suggest you stop testing for now.
hoping4_2 are the digital :) ones very sensitive do you know? I know i'm just setting myself up for a bfn by doing this to myself, but you know how ya get when your so close to the end of your 2ww! This sucks! My temp did drop at 10piui- i've been trying not to look into that though. It was 98.3 on fri, 97.9 on sat, 98.5 yesterday, and 98.7 this morning. All temps taken at 9 am. So lets assume implantation was on saturday, wouldn't it clearly be positive now? Not a light line, but a dark line???
I would try a digitle (sorry wrong spelling, you get the point) It actualy says the word pregnant or not pregnant. That way there is no confusion. But it sounds good, maybe your levels are still kinda low and that's why it's faint. But I would try the digatle. ( why can't I spell today...LOL)
I still think it's an evap line even though both lines appeared at the same time b/c the test line is skinnier. I looked it up online and it says evap lines appear after the 10 minute mark, but rarely show at any time when the pee hits it. So i'm convinced it's an evap line. Has this ever happened to anyone, when both lines showed at the same time but ended up being an evap line? My temps should drop tomorrow if af is coming. So we'll see... but i'm convinced this cycle is a bfn...
Ok so i just did another test strip, and both lines appeared at the same time. The test line is still lighter though, but you can see it. Since that one came up so quick, i did a $ tree test, and the line is barely visible. The $ tree test was visible after about 4 minutes. I don't know what to think. I wish i could post a pic so y'all could see, but i can't load pics from my camera onto my computer. I really don't feel preg at all, so i think these tests are just cheap and faulty. I'll take another in the morning with fmu, and use my last equate brand and see what it says. Tomorrow will be 13dpiui so if it's neg, then i know to expect af b/c she will be here on the 22nd.
Maye you can post a picture of your test so we can examine it. Have you already checked out peeonastick.com to look at their pee sticks to compare? I only have experience with $tree and FRERs and the $trees can give you something to obsess about before the 10 min mark. Can you try a different test, maybe an FRER or Answer? I hear the Target brand is pretty reliable.
