going to ttc again....scared

my last two pregnancies I m/c very early.  I am now waiting for bloodwork to come back to see why my body isn't keeping the pregnancy, my doctor wants me to schedule a HSG when I get my next AF.  My question.....do you think it would be okay to ttc one more time? Or do you think I shouldn't and wait for the HSG? I'm 38, been ttc to concieve for while, and I'm very anxious to have a little love bundle.  What do you think???

My advice is this, it all depends on what you think you can and can't handle.  If you think another m/c is going to break you, I would say hold out for a bit.  If you are willing to take that chance, by all means take it!  Only you can know in your heart what you want to do.

Yes, they can give me medicine...but obviously nothing is 100%...they will start me on a low dose blood thinner early like 5-6 weeks....if I can make it that long.

I have a wonderful 2 yr old dd and no problems with pregnancy or birth...so GOD has blessed me and given me hope.

I am going to wait and see what the bloodwork finds first before I go through with the HSG.  Your bloodclotting problem, can they give you medication for that?
My results should be within the next two days.  I am hoping they find something there and then I won't have the HSG

I too was going to have the HSG done just to take a peek at my uterus to see why the babies are not attaching properly....but the last m/c the baby did attach okay.

After 2 very early m/c at 5.5-6 weeks the drs were concerned as I also have a tipped uterus now...seems to have happened since the birth of my first daughter.

Anyway,  I cancelled it as they did find out of my blood clotting disorder so we are assuming that has been the problem all along.

Good luck...I hear it's uncomfortable so I hope that you don't experience that.  But then again, you are a strong woman....I have a feeling you'll do just about anything to ensure a strong and healthy pregnancy next time

May GOD bless you and keep you close to HIM

why an hsg? you are not having trouble getting pregnant so why is he worried about your tubes being blocked? have you had an ectopic pregnancy? anyway, i was in the same boat...to ttc or not ttc. my last mc was 11/30/06 and i am currently pregnant again. i just feel like, if i want another child i will have to keep trying. and if that is not part of God's plan then i believe he will take that desire and give me peace about it. a real close friend of mine is frustrated with me because she feels like "here we go again". i just believe that it is my decision, as long as i know the risks. which i am all to familiar with (4 mc). anyway just pray about it and keep your faith. you are in my prayers...God Bless!!
