how does your cervix feel when pregnant??

I have a question.. When you are pregnant is your cervix high and soft or low and hard or what?? And how do you know when it is "high or low"?? finger tip.. half finger.. whole finger? lord I'm lost! lol.. I don't like fingering myself but would if it meant that i had to study this one out.. hehe and what about the mucus stuff? what does creamy like lotion mean? not snot as some put it not stringy just looks like lotion. Any suggestions?

My periods have been messed up i usually start on 27th but last month i got my af on the 30 bleed lighter and only lasted 4days usually my af is heavy and last for 7days and now i havnt come on af my cervix is low and hard i keep feeling sick dont no whats happening can some help please xx

I just noticed that my cervix is closed and I was spotting...Could that mean me and my husband successfully got pregnant? Idk but I have been feeling weird and having tender breasts and stuff...

My last period was may 10. I have sore nipples with a discharge when squeezed. I'm not sur if I am hittin my cervix or no but I feel something a little hard n fleshy about half a finger in. And I have white creamy stuff coming out with it. Could I be pg or is this just some odd fluke??

I really have no idea, I only go by that because it usually runs like that with me, I got it the 16th of every month FAITHFULLY before my last PG in May. I'm not sure if thats the case with everyone else though.

lol, pcarsey dont sweat it i laughed too afterwards. haha. no it wasnt the mattress--- it was me. plus i could feel the squish in my cervix every time the noise sounded..... hope it doesnt mean anything is wrong. its never happened before. it was the 'from behind' position, sorry if tmi but i know that gets in deep so it was definitley the cervix. fiancee says it kind of felt like a sponge, though not quite that squishy. today is period due day and no period, huge boobs, no cramps. so im waiting....

i was just wondering this since i have never really figured it out, is the first day of your missed period the day you are supposed to get it or the day after?

my husband says he can tell whether or not my cervix is low or high etc during sex all the time.. maybe a position (tmi sorry) that penetrates deeply will help you be able to feel the difference. i often feel as though it is hitting a brick wall and thats when it is down. from what i can tell with my body, i have the signs of ovulation but dont release an egg so for me it may be different.
i think when the mucous is fertile it is clear and stringy and when it is hostile it is white and creamier... i think ive got that the right way...

ive had the noise happen too and im sure it is just air that gets in there. if he withdraws completely and then puts it in all the way (tmi hehehe) it will make a noise like that... hope the neighbours dont hear it hey....    :)

is a soft cervix a sign of pregnancy? mine is soft right now, and the strangest thing happened.--- me and fiancee were going at it and every time he would go in all the way i heard a squeaky noise, kind of like jumping on an old mattress(not very loud) and accompanied by a squishing feeling when he hit the cervix aswell--- anyone heard of this?

During the first 5-6 wks of my preg my cervix was very low and soft. I would always feel when I put in the prometrium suppository. At first I thought there was something wrong. I am 12 wks pg now don't do the suppository anymore but did check couple of days ago. Cervix is little higher.

I've had to feel my cervix A LOT since I have been pg, because I was on suppositories for 6 weeks and had to dig the by-product out - I know TMI, bu it is true.  

I have never been able to tell the low, high, soft, hard, biz but I can tell you about my experience.  Since I have been pg my cervix, sticks out a lot more.  It almost feels like there is a short fat thumb in there.  

I'm at work so I'm not able to view the below link.  But somehwere on that page there is other links with picks of womens cervix at different stages in there cycle.  It is grafic but very informative.  I never had any idea what a cervix looked like unitl I saw this web page.

About the cervical mucus.  During your fertile time it should become clear, slippery and stringy.  When you put fingers together and them pull them apart, it should string across them.
