how many days after iui would you get pregnancy symptoms OPEN

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me when I should start to having pregnancy symptoms after iui. I am 6 days post iui and yesterday I started feeling naused. It woke me up during the night and I still feel the same today. I don't know if I have a bug or if is maybe a sign. I also took 10,000 units of HCG trigger shot but it has been 8 days since I had shot so I don't know if that could be it. Please HELP!!!

What is a trigger shot?? Doctor never mentioned anything about me needing one, I've seen people talk about it on here. They also never said anything about using opks to double check. My office does an ultrasound and a blood test to see when you are going to ovulate and then schedules the iui from that. Never said a word about opks.
I guess there's no way to know what happened this month. I just figured that if I was ovulating the day of my iui like they said I was wouldn't the opk be positive that night? I guess not if I was done surging by then. Idk but all I can do now is wonder, guess, hope and wait lol.

It does make me feel better that I'm not the only one and that you went through it also. I just had a totally different experience with this iui then I did with my first one last cycle.

Oh one more thing... The doctor never told me to have my progesterone levels checks. I don't know if he just forgot to tell me or what? Aren't you supposed to do that with each iui?? Last time they told me to go back in a week.

I'm thinking I'm going to ask to see a different doctor. There are a few different doctors there and I really liked the one who did our first iui. My doctor was out with a broken ankle.

I know what your saying about my doctors office not being honest with me.... I work in a doctors office and I just know that there are those few doctors I've come across out there that aren't always truthful or just perform procedures because of money even though they know the procedure isn't going to work, they give the patient hope that it will work but in all reality the doctor is money hungry. I'm just scared that I'll get a doctor like that!! I know most aren't like that... Just at the time I was so emotional, nothing made sense to me and I was so mad because they missed me ovulating before and I couldn't have the iui done. I did ovulate earlier with him changing the start date of clomid.
Maybe next cycle (if this doesn't work lol) ill also ask for the ultrasound and blood work earlier just in case.

Well - this is my first time with the crazy follicles and OMG the pain.  I also felt like I was ovulating (totally sure of it) and had the exact same thing happen.  I only had 4 follicles so I can't imagine what 7 feels like!  My guess is the dr was correct and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't lie to you about it.

Did they tell you to do a trigger shot?

(If it makes you feel better - I also didn't do the OPK this cycle and when I went in for the ultrasound she asked me what the OPK said because that was how they were going to schedule the IUI and know if I needed to do the trigger.  I felt so stupid! :-)

So this is what happened... I called the office right after I wrote that post on Thursday (because I'm telling you all that I swear I was ovulating) I couldn't even walk without being in horrible pain, and I'm pretty sure most women know what it feels like. I can't believe I didn't think to use an OPK!!!! I guess because I was so stressed out.. I will never let that happen again.

When I called them they said there wasn't anything they could do because it was too late in the afternoon. All blood work has to be in before 11:00am. If I would have called earlier they would have seen me. I was so upset.

So I went in for my appointment on Friday. ( btw all ovulation pains stopped a few hours after I called the office on Thursday) They did the blood work and ultrasound and told me I had HUGE follicles on both ovaries. 3 on the left and 4 on the right. I told the nurse that I thought I already ovulated and she said no but I'm stating to, and the reason that I was in pain was because of how large the follicles were. I wasn't totally convinced until the blood results came back later that day.

The nurse called and said that my iui would need to be scheduled for saturday. We went this morning. My DH motility was up from last time so that was good.

I just remember last month that my iui was done while I was having ovulation pains. I just know my body, that's why I stopped buying opks because I could tell when I was I didn't need them. I found one lying around my house and I just did it and it said I WASN'T OVULATING!!!!!! Idk if I was earlier today??,I'm hoping the doctors office didn't lie to me about everything???? What Do you think I should do? Omg this is a nightmare this cycle

When I was on Clomid I went from day 5 to day 3 and it really didn't change the date I ovulated.  But I would do a OPK. (I know this is probably too ate, but here you go anyway)  Good luck!  How'd it turn out?

Can you get a opk test to see if its positive? If it is then they need to move a little faster. Most test kits come with  a few test so I will test daily just to be sure things are accurate. Also will you be doing a trigger shot or just going by the ovulation dates?

That was our first iui. I go tomorrow for blood work and ultrasound to find out when my next iui is going to be scheduled. I'm just nervous that I will ovulate before I get to the doctor tomorrow because of him having me start the clomid earlier this cycle. That happened to us last year, I never even got to have the iui done because I ovulated before the blood work and ultrasound appointment. That cycle he had me taking clomid cd 4-8. This cycle it's cd 3-8. And last cycle when I had my first iui it was cd 5-10, that cycle I ovulated later than they thought I would. I don't know. I will be VERY mad if I miss my chance. This medicine is NOT fun and if I took it for no reason again like last year I will not be happy lol. My left ovary hurts soooo bad!!!! And I'm bloated. And moody. Clomid is evil
