how many days after iui would you get pregnancy symptoms OPEN

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me when I should start to having pregnancy symptoms after iui. I am 6 days post iui and yesterday I started feeling naused. It woke me up during the night and I still feel the same today. I don't know if I have a bug or if is maybe a sign. I also took 10,000 units of HCG trigger shot but it has been 8 days since I had shot so I don't know if that could be it. Please HELP!!!

Thanks for your response.  I am sorry to hear about your m/c but wishing you the best of luck for this cycle.  It is very hard even though we have one.  I also want the best for him which would be a little sibling to play with before he gets too old to enjoy it.

Keep us updated and I will keep you updated.  Wishing the best and hope we get pregnant on the same cycle :0)

I also have a 3 year old and have been trying for over 2 years now again. We both checked out fine. I did 4 months of chlomid then 3 IUIs with letrozole and ovidril then a 4th with injections and got pregnant. I had a m/c and am starting going back to the dr tomorrow to start IUI number 5's cycle. Keeping fingers crossed for us both!!! Its hard when you have one easily bc you just cant wrap your mind around why the second isnt happening that way. Then people say just be thankful you have one. Well I'm so thankful hes amazing but why does that mean I shouldne have another?! good luck to you!

Hi there,
I hope the IUI will work.
I've been through 3 IUIs so far and going for the 4th one in a couple of weeks. I'm not taking any meds. This last time I think I had a chemical pregnancy. I had pregnancy symptoms for about a week, we got so excited, but the EPTs all were BFN, and then AF kicked in yesterday morning. The blood test result is not back yet, but I'm pretty sure it's negative. All my symptoms stopped after AF arrived, well, I'm still kinda nauseated every now and then. That could be from stress too I guess.
But this IUI could be all you needed. If you're not on any meds, I guess you should just expect some early symptoms. I didn't feel anything after the first 2 IUIs, except PMS symptoms, but this 3rd time was different, I knew there was something going on, it just didn't stick :( Sad, but I want to be ready for the next round.
Wish you all the best, hugs and baby dust! Let us know how you're doing!

HI Everyone! I am so extremely for this blog. We just got our first IUI done yesterday and have no idea what to expect from here on out. We have been trying for over a year with no luck. Tried 6 cycles on Clomid. O'd but no pregnancy! I am wishing this time will be different. Any advice to me out there from any women that have conceived after IUI? Should I be waiting to feel something? Lots of Baby dust to all of you that are here struggling with me...remember you are not alone. We are all in this together! ~prayers~

Thank you both for your kind words :)  I don't feel so alone in all this pressure now.  I had my hcg shot this past Sunday and b/d that night and on Monday.  Took Tuesday off and last night seduced my hubby.  :)  I didn't tell him anything of having to have sex.  But in the back of my mind I knew I had to, to increase our chances.  Hopefully that was enough b/ding :)  I'm planning to take a break from the meds and timed b/d if it doesn't work this month.  Don't want anymore strain in my marriage.  I know I want a baby terribly, but not at the risk of causing more strain on our relationship.

Hey Ladies,

I have been reading this thread for a little while now and thought I would join as you ladies seem to be a great group.

My story - My husband and I have one son, three years old, and ttc for almost two years now for a second (and third lol).  All testing shows... wait for it.... nothing.  We both seem to be healthy, ovulating yada yada.  We had one IUI cycle with letrozole with no dice.  It was a very tough week for me as it was the first assisted cycle and everything was working so well.  I had 4 follicles (two at 19).  Blood work was great.  Husband's sperm excellent.  Then came the cramps and period.  Errr.

We are now on our second cycle using letrozole and puregon.  I'm also frustrated because my veins are so horrible and they have a tough time getting my blood.

Any words of inspiration... wish me luck and pray for us please.

Thank you!!!!
