ibuprofen and naproxen (Advil, Motrin and Aleve) linked to miscarriage

I don't know, maybe all of your docs have told you ladies the same thing, but I seem to remember my last doc saying it was OK to take ibuprofen during the 2ww.  So I thought I'd post this to make sure everyone knew.  My brand new doctor (who is fricken AWESOME by the way - yay!) and my RE's office (also great) have told me not to take ibuprofen or Aleve.  Both of these have apparently been found to be linked to a higher miscarriage rate.  Tylenol/Acetaminophen is fine, just not Advil, Motrin, Aleve or their generic counterparts.

Here is an article I found if anyone is interested.

Since ttc has ruled the better part of my life, I cut them out a long time ago. As a rule, I try to stay within pregnancy guidelines as much as I can. Let's face it, I'm not giving up drinking until I have to, lol. But, most caffeine has been cut out, otc drugs, artificial sweetners(an occasional diet coke) etc. So many things can have an affect on an unborn child. I'd rather not leave anything to chance. Too many odds against me already, why add more? Thanks for the post. I'm sure lots of women aren't aware. Ibuprofen is widely over used anyway. It has terrible effects on the liver and kidneys, also.
