if you misscarry and are on progesterone will...

you bleed.. if not how do you know you have misscarried?  I am 8weeks pg. today and well, I am terified of m/c I am on 600mg of prometruim a day and if something was to happen would I even know?  I go the obgyn on monday but am sure that can hear an external heartbead yet so I will just worry until that happens... I did have an ultrasound at 7weeks and there was a strong heartbeat of 126bpm but after reading all the horror stories well, i am peranoid now... so any knowledge?

yes you will bleed, rven on the progesterone. i was on the suppositories and when i miscarried i first began to spot, then bleed, and then went on to miscarry. large amount of bleeding with clots and tissie..sorry TMI

I think if you miscarry on the progesterone you will still bleed.  But if you are not pregnant then you may not shed the uterine lining when on progesterone.  There is more tissue there with a miscarriage so I am pretty sure you would know it.  If you had a good Hb at 7 weeks I wouldn't be worried - you are doing what you can.  Nothing can stop a failing pregnancy, not even progesterone.  That being said, a thriving embryo will continue to thrive if the conditions are right.  The good embies will stick, don't worry and good luck!!!
