i'm afraid i can't get pregnant...

i lost a baby at 18 because i didn't know i was pregnant and i was drinking heavily at parties. i'm so sorry and i blame myself everyday for not knowing, but i was just a teen. now i'm 22, married, with a healthy life and i've been trying to concieve for about 7 months. i'm taking vitamines with folic acid, have sex every 2 days starting with day 8 of the cycle. doctor says i don't need any investigation until 1 year + of TTC. but i'm so scared

im sorry i replied so late. my internet had problems. i've tried and still am trying ovulation kits. i'm ovulating every month in day 14 or 15. im also tracking bbt and cervical mucus. nothing seems wrong but feels wrong. i know it's stupid from my part to be worried when other women try for so many years. thank you for your nice answers. all i can think about now is stress. maybe that's why is not happening

Thank goodness that is not the way the universe works!!  It will happen for you.  Have you tried ovulation kits?  Taking your temp??  Don't blame yourself.  Plenty of women who have had similar or worse situations in their past, have become parents!!

They all require 1 year. the average is 1 year for conceiving.  Just keep trying and enjoy your self.

Dont blame yourself... u didnt know and u still dont know that that is the reason. U will never know. just use it as a lesson in life for u and for others.  I have miscarried several times and it didnt have anything to do with what i drank or ate.  i was doing everything correct and still mc.  I had a friend that it took them 15 months and another 13 months of trying. with us something is wrong and it has taken years for us to get pregnant and all have ended in mc.

If your dr didnt know how long it had been i would say just up your trying time by a few months.

you can start tracking your temps and cervical mucus.  also try using opks.  I can answer any questions u have. we have been try for 5+ years.  just message me if u have any questions as to how to track any of these or what any of this means.
