infertile

Hey there, I hope my next question doesn't sound too naive. Can you be infertile even if you show positive on the ovulation test? I had two positive on two consecutive days before my ovulation day. Didn't get pregnant. Have been trying to conceive for three months. Just feeling scared.

Try using preseed it's a lubricant sperm friendly and if nothing in a couple more month I would suggest getting an hsg done to check your Fallopian tubes!

For most people with no fertility issues, it can take up to 6-12 months to conceive. Some people get pregnant quickly, others a little longer, but it can be normal. There's about a 20% chance of getting pregnant each month when there are no fertility issues, so having intercourse on your ovulation days are not a guarantee.
There are things you can do to help you along the way. Both you and your partner need to stay hydrated and drink lots if water. Limit caffeine intake. Add extra vitamin C into you diet or take a 500 mg supplement. Hydration benefits all if your body systems and helps them function adequately. For some people, excessive caffeine intake can negatively impact fertility. Vitamin C has many amazing benefits with fertility as vital nutrients, but also thins out seminal fluid helping sperm swim better and thins cervical mucous, also helping sperm make the voyage.
Also, check into fertility friendly lubrication such as preseed or conceive plus. These are sperm friendly and don't inhibit their swimming abilities. Regular lubricant like KY is thicker and while its not a spermicide, the sperm have a difficult time swimming through it.
Good luck!
