Hi There. I hope you dont mind me jumping in. I have had 2 failed IUI's and just had a embryo transfer 4 days ago. I have been on the progesterone suppositories 3 times. The nurse at my clinic did tell me that the side effects of the progesterone do mimic that of a pregnancy. My progesterone came with a booklet too, which I read front to back, and the side effects are on there too. You can also search the type of progesterone you are on online, and it should give you this information as well. good luck to you!
you have a good chance but its all a roll of the dice game so keep hopeing and i pray it all comes out well for you and i think its the med's that they give you that make you feel that way, i know i did but it didn't work out for me but i wish you all luck
Hello. i had my embryo transfer 5 days ago. they transfer 2 embryo 5 cell and 7 cells.my brest is hurting and i can be very snapy easily. the thing is i dont know why am i neeg to take this progrsteron passarys for. do u think i have got a good chance to be come pragment?
i took a blood test and they said it was a no but my husband still thinks i am cuz of something he read on line so i told him lets see if i get my period to see. could something like that happen?
thanks for the info. i was wondering its been 9 day after my embryo transfer and i;m still having sharp cramiping is that normal and for the last 3 days i've been nauseous but i know its too early for me to feel any thing
If you are transferring 3day then they will not be able to tell you much about the quality. The thought process is:
3day:
We transfer on day three because by then you know the the cells are multiplying correctly and we want to get them back into there natural environment where they have the best chance of healthy growth and hopefully implantation.
5day:
We transfer on day five because by then you know what cells are multiplying the best. You can grade an embryo and know you have implanted the best quality ones. This gives you the best chance for healthy growth and implantation.
Depending on your RE he may offer to do either one or have a preferred way to do it. I have looked at many different clinics and from my un-scientific study the success rates are about the same no matter what day the transfer is done. Hope that info helps.

NObody really knows what can happen. Today I had my BETA test after transferring 3 Great looking 8 cell embryos. This cycle didn't work for me.
It's luck of the draw. Good Luck to you!!
I don't know what they mean by saying "100% fertilized," never heard that before... Whether they make it or not depends on several factors, including your age, general health, and, most of all, the quality of the embryos. I had only one transferred (April 20th) and it worked! My embryo was "labeled" A+ quality, and that is why I transferred one only, to avoid the risk of multiples. Oh, and mine was a 5 day transfer, not 3 like yours (which isn't bad, either, don't worry!). Did they tell you what quality yours were? Best wishes :)
