I am starting clomid cycle 3 this month.  today is cd1.  looking for cycle buddies for encouragement.  I am getting discouraged after 13 months of ttc.

Ok, i need help.  I tested this am and saw a VERY VERY  faint line.  So light i showed it to DH to make sure i wasnt imagining it.  He saw it too, but it is super faint.  (it was a Target brand test)  I got a positive OPK an day 13 so I guess I O on day 14 or 15.  Today is day 29.  I am pretty sure it would have been darker by now if i were preggo.  What do you guys think?

AF due today but nothing?!?!?  I am going to test in the morning but i am not feeling very positive.  After seeing so many negatives you just expect it. How is everyon else doing?

Wendy 813:  Hopefully your symptoms are due to pregnancy this time!!  You could probably test within the next day or two.  I'll be waiting to hear good news!

Tea_berries:  What dpo are you?  Getting nauseaus could be a positive sign.  I know what you mean, I always over-analyze my symptoms.  Keep us posted, and good luck!

I'm doing pretty good.  9 dpo today.  I had a progesterone test done on Saturday, so I'm anxious to hear what the results were.  That was the first one I ever had.  I just keep praying I make it to the end of the week!

one of the ladies here tested this morning at 12DPO and got a faint positive.  yay!
I don't know for sure if I will be testing tomorrow morning. I get too scared.  I get nauseaus every once in a while especially today.  Maybe it's in my head but.  I am not thinking ahead till I see my BFP.....

Back from vacation.  How is everyone doing?  As for me I have symtoms (but i always do with clomid)  they are a little stronger this month than usual.  I am keeping my fingers crossed.  I am 11 dpo.  When should i test?  I am h

thanks for the input. I did O late, I got a line thursday night it's not super dark but it's a notch darker than the control line.  I even asked DH opinion and he agrees.  I am now waiting for a phone call to tell me if I really O'd with a BWork done yesterday afternoon.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, the weekend just flew right by!  Anyway, here's my story:  TTC about 21 months with unexplained fertility.  Perhaps just an ovulation or egg quality problem since I could never get a positive OPK on my own.  Was put on Clomid last fall and took it for 4 months with no luck.  Now on my 3rd cycle of Femara, just beginning the 2ww.  Since my DH's SA was good, we're just trying natual for now.  My doctor said I can take the Femara for 6 cycles and then we need to take a break from it for a few months.  At that point, we'll probably consider trying the IUI next.

thanks for the imput i think when you were writing this i was starting a little thread otherwise i probably wouldnt have started it but anyway. so are you doing iui or natual. whats your story??? are you using clomid?? are you having a trigger??

tea_berries:  I'm sure that your body is just O'ing late.  That would give you a cycle of around 33 days, which is perfectly normal for a lot of people.  I hope the Clomid and Metformin is your lucky combination!

Sarah9010:  Welcome!  I also think 15mm is a great follie size on that day.  Sounds like you're much better of this month and I'm sure the trigger will help.  Mine was actually 20mm today (cd13) and they told me that was really good, so it was probably about the same size as yours 2 days ago.  That's awesome that you already have 2 kids.  At those ages, they are probably keeping you pretty busy!

Heather5:  I think you were right in stopping the Clomid since you O on your own anyway.  Sometimes it's just counter-productive like you said, not only with the mucus, but with the lining as well.

Is that what you were on last month too? Just wondering. How long have you been taking fert. meds. and i dont know if you remember but last month i didnt get my post. opk untill cd 25. so cd19 dosent sound that bad to me. how long are you normally or befor you started taking the fert. meds. we all need to get pos. this month so we can all move to the other threads together. one day im sure. maybe this is our month....

I am on my second round of clomid. first was 50mg with nothing my follies were 10 then 13. no luck. thought i was PG but turned out to be neg. (Blahh) this month im on 100mg of clomid then a trigger when its time. and like i said im cd11 now with follie of 15mm. I have two kids already ( 6 and 4) dont know what happened they say i just stopped Oing reg.  hay as for you i hear these wonderfull ladys talk about something called Pree-seed i dont know if im spelling it right but its suposed to help with the dryness from the clomid. just an idea if you go back on it.

sarah: I'm just doing a natural cycle with timed intercourse (I'm just charting and using OPKs). I tried clomid for the first time last month, but it totally dried things up down there, and not having fertile cervical mucus kinda counteracts using clomid to increase my chances, so since I do ovulate on my own, I decided not to use it this month. How about you?

I'm rooting for lots and lots of BFPs this month!

hi sarah,  I am not sure about the follies and their sizes.  My RE is not sending me for any US to find out.  All I know is that every CD21 I get progesterone tests to see if I did O.  But not sure exacly when because my BBT went crazy last month, and decided not to buy more OPK's .... I should have :( Anyway my period was late last month so I am thnking maybe I did O late.  My RE wants me to continue 50mg clomid but this time I am also taking metformin 150.  I hope you are right, I am hoping that this is the month for us :)

thanks for the help. I just looked up and say your past posts. hopefully youll be finding out soon. I wouldnt read to much into the symptom thing though youll just make your self crazy. thats what i did last month. Its exiciting though. I cant wait to see how many +'s we have this month. Are you using anything clomid or natural?

sarah: I think 15 mm on CD 11 is a great size. The follicles will usually grow by about 2 mm a day. I don't know when you usually ovulate, but if it's around CD 14, your follicle could be around 21 mm, which is perfect!

I everyone i havent talked to anyone in a while just wondering if i can join this thread. Today i am cd 11 just back from doc. I have one follie at 15mm dont really know if thats good or not. (does anyone know it would be great if someone can tell me) I guess its better than last month. I only had a 10mm this time last month that only grew to 13mm.

Tea Berries---- I hope you get your +. I told you last month that I hope this is your month so hopefully im right. Fingers Crossed!!! let me know. Didnt you O late last month too? If so did they or are they going to change anything for you.(ex. meds dosages etc.)

Wendy813:  Yeah!!  I'm so glad you got your positive OPK.  I hope this is your month too!  Thanks for the offer on the book, but it's probably best to keep it in case you ever need to refer back to it.  I've found it pretty cheap online, so I can just go ahead and order my own copy.

Heather 5:  So one week down, about one more to go!  Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Update on me - I had my US this morning and there is one big follie that looks like it's about to rupture.  Plus they did and OPK on me and it was positive.  I'm so excited and relieved to know that my body at least appears to be doing something right!

Hi girls! Sounds like a lot of you guys are getting ready to O! Just thought I'd give you a quick update on my status: 7 dpo today. No real symptoms yet...other than slightly sore BBs, but that's normal for me.

I just got a positive OPK.  I am more opptomistic this month than i have been.  I hope we all get BFP this month.

i agree with you, i think we have too many chemicals these days added to everything to make like easier.  The truth is, there are side effects.  I am trying to eat healthy lately.  and see what it does.  Hope it will give me BFP

Hi.  I was just thinking that we needed to revive this thread!  I am cd12 today and got my positive OPK on cd13 last month, so I'm hoping to see it soon.  I actually go for an ultrasound first thing tomorrow morning and it's my first one since starting the Femara.  I'm really praying that I have some nice big follies!    I've heard of that Fertility Diet book and it always seemed interesting to me, so I may have to buy one.  It really makes you wonder because it seems like a lot of people have trouble getting pregnant these days.  It has to be either something that's added to the food we eat or the chemicals used in our products, like shampoos, lotions, etc.  So, does anyone else have any updates?  Good luck to you all!!

I am CD18 today.  my second round of 50mg clomid with metfromin.  I did ovulate this month and hoping to O this month again.  I guess I will find out.  I think I got a line last night with clear blue.  the intensity is same as the control line.  HOpe to see it brighter tonight.  I will keep you posted :) Have a save trip to vegas! :)

Hello everyone!!  Today is cd-13 for me.  No surge yet but maybe today.  I am leaving for Vegas next week.  Maybe this will take my mind off the tww.  I have been reading a book called The Infertility Diet.  It is awsome.  It says that yams work like clomid and also wheat germ.  I have been trying it.  I hope it works.  Also i read a study about organic foods helping with infertility.  Everyone left me know what cd your own so we can support each other.  Anyone had opk yet?
