miscarrage and slow rising HCG still

Hi can any body help me here's my story.
I should be about 6-7 weeks pregnant my HCG levels raised slowly from 218  310  507 doctors could see a tiny sac at 4-5 weeks but this time couldn't see baby in my womb did a blood test and sent me home telling me sorry you have miscarried. Later in the afternoon my phone rings, the nurse at the hospital as panic tone voice. She said that my Hcg levels have gone to 1700. So i have been mourning the loss of my baby and now iv got more hope , it is cruel as i think i'm pregnant again and will have all the heartache again. I also forgot to mention i'm bleeding but not as heavy as my period but still a lot. I am obese so i was hoping this effected the scan.I have got to go back for another scan and blood test tomorrow 48 hours later.

Gosh, that is really tough.... I would definitely be encouraged by the call, although leery as well. The more I think about it, the more I think you may be ok. Have you had mc before? You may want to ask your dr about putting you on progesterone, do you know those #'s?
Best of luck, I hope this pregnancy sticks hun.
