Well he said that my FSH levels are normal so i am definatly ovualting he said thats not the problem. He said i didnt have enough estrogen to make a uterus lining to there was nothing to shed. and nothing for the egg to implant into. I dont know, hes been my family doctor for ever and its hard not to trust what he says.
So your doctor said it was the estrogen that was low, not the progesterone? Usually, the estrogen rises as your follicle/egg develops and then once released, progesterone goes up. A low progesterone usually indicates no ovulation, and without ovulation, you won't get your period. I would probably ask your doctor for a progesterone supplement instead (like provera). This will trick you body into thinking it has in fact ovulated, even though it hasn't and should bring on a period shortly after. Once you get your period, hopefully your cycle will be back on track, but if not, there are other meds you can take to help you ovulate.
Best of luck!
