the same thing also happened to me. I wasnt sure when we conceived our daughter because we werent really ttc with her and i was very irregular then. I went in for my scan and my doc thought i was around 5 weeks. He didnt seen anything. So I came back  2 weeks later for a repeat scan and seen my little girl with a heart beat!!!! I was measuring 5 weeks and 4 days along. So I was really only 3 weeks and 4 days when i had my first US. I hope everything turns out just fine. With your levels coming up I would think its just way early!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Gestational sac (GS) is the only available intrauterine structure that can be used to determine if an intrauterine pregnancy (IUP) exists, until the embryo is identified. The gestational sac first appears at about 4 weeks gestational age, and grows at a rate of about 1 mm a day through the 9th week of pregnancy. Since it is only 3 weeks, you should get a repeat ultrasound done after 1 week-10 days.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
