one dark line,am i ovulating?!

i took an Answer ovulation test.... only one dark line appeared,does this mean i am ovulating?Should the magic begin before ovulation, during WHEN?! WE WANT A BABY!!!

You want to start having sex when it shows you are ovulating,  so buy a few,  and as soon as you get two dark lines go for it,  kind of refrain from having sex at least a couple days before to give you more sperm and make sure he wears those boxers.

I took one monday  it was 1 dark line and 1 faint line i took one today and now theres no line at all what does that mean

If only one line is appearing then it's negative test. Are you testing at the right time of day? Between 1pm-8pm is the best time to test between. The test line is should begin to appear each day as you get closer to ovulation, and when the test (2nd line) is darker or the same colour as the control line then you'll be ovulation within the next 12-24 hours.

no one line is the control line...just to show the test is working...you need two lines...the test line should be as dark as the control line or dark...then its a positive.

only one line appeared today as well..but it was lighter than the other test & there were not two lines...

the test should have 2 lines not one. If there's only 1 line then you're not ovulating. For you to be ovulating the test line will be darker or the same colour as the control line. Anything lighter and you're not ovulating.

Normal ovulation tests have a dark control line, then another that means you are ovulation. Most tests state that the second line should be as dark as the control ( or darker) to indicate ovulation. If yours only has one line, that should be the control. Read the directions to be sure.
