red mask???

Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if any of you have come across this.....

DH mentioned early today my face was looking red so iv just taken a look its like over my forehead round then to the bottom of my nose this is really very weird iv never noticed this before iv used the same cleanser,toner and moisturiser for about 6 years and its elemis so a really good make and iv never had a reaction and i also put this all over my face,neck and top of my bust but everywhere else is a normal skin tone...i tried takin a pic but its not really showing up well enough... I dont feel anything like a reaction i eat mostly the same so cant be a reaction to food. Im due for Af sun but i cant ever recall this happening before??

Any insight would be greatly apreciated....

Thanks for that Annie, Iv looked up that aswell but i havnt got a rash anywhere else, the only way i can explain it is it looks like iv been sunburnt,except under my nose right across the bottom of my face is a normal skin colour its not ichy sore or anything think ill leave it until next week and see if it goes and if not see my GP. Thanks for your input ladies x

Iv also just taken my temp and its 37.2 its normally about 36-36.4 i dont know if this has anything to do with it...

I did google it but i couldnt find anything i have now lol iv looked at the pics and there like dark and blotchy mines more bright red and no blotches like over my head down and over my top lip hmmmm suppose only time will tell lol

Well, there *is* such a thing as a "mask of pregnancy," but that comes a lot later (even after pregnancy sometimes).  I think it's proper name is cholasma, or something close to that.  You could google it and see if it fits what you are seeing.
