time for sperm to replenish after sex

how long do the male sperm reserves take to be replenished after sex and therefore be most effective for conception?

My wife and I just started... I'm 29, she is about to turn 28.  Being that we just started, and she just came off the pill 5 months ago, we haven't really been tested yet, so I don't know what my count is or the mortality/morphology %'s.

Me RE said that if S/A is ok and there is not issues, than every day (then she said as much as we want) :)

As long as no problems w/SA, you can even bd 2x a day. My dr recommended 2x a day for us. Sperm will replinish within 24hr in most cases. Even at 1/2 capacity for 2nd bd in a day, 2x a day is more than full capacity 1x a day. If low count or other issues, this is NOT recommended.

my doctor says every other day untill you get the + on the ovulation detector, and then everyday you get a +
