HI!
It is quite common for spotting to occur after IVF. If it is only a small amount of bleeding, there is nothing to worry about. There really is no way to interpret what it means, unless it becomes heavy like a period. IF not, there is still a chance that you will be pregnant. You can take a test at home, but don't be discouraged if it is negative.
The embryos don't implant and begin to produce hcg for at least 10 days after transfer, so that is why the REs wait for 14 days.
Certainly, if you don't have period-like bleeding go in for your pregnancy test at the doctor's office--HOPE its positive!
Good luck!

Hi,
Thank you for the response.. But I think I got my period and that means -ve... I went into depression the last two days but my husband lifted my spirit up and now I am to ready to accept my fate at this stage...
Today morning I went to give my blood test which I will know my result in the afternoon..
But I would like to know that sine I had laproscopic surgery for my cyst twice, would that have affected the treatment.. They could retrieve 10eggs , out of which 4 could be frozen, is that a good number? And the grades are 1 and 2...
My doc had called me yesterday and informed me that if this this time, its unsuccessful., we can use the frozen embryo after a month..Would there be any difference of having transplanted a fresh embryo and not being successful and then transplant a frozen? what is the chances of using a frozen embryo? Would a month's gap be too early to use the frozen one? I know I am asking too many questions but I am just curious to know all these...
I need some kind of help as well as I really want a baby.. I am 35yrs of age..
Thanks n regards,
Joy
