Clomid & AF Cycles

Hey All,
I've had a tubal reversal & doctor said all looks good & open, he put me on Clomid to make sure Im ovulating. But the past 2 months Ive been taking Clomid starting day 3, but my periods have been 7 days early  both months & Ive always been like clock work. Is this a problem or is it OK that its early like this?? Will this affect my fertility?

Thanks,
Heather

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that if you are taking Clomid on cycle day 3, your period should start on cycle day 28.  If it is working properly and you are ovulating (should be on cycle day 14) it will start almost exactly on the 28th day.  This is independent of what your cycles have been in the past--the Clomid is determining the cycles now.
Hope that makes sense to you!
Good luck!
