Miscarriage

Hi. Im 32 Ive had 9 pregnancies  and 2 of those were miscarried. I am currently having a miscarriage. I am 14 weeks "pregnant" and the baby stopped growing at 10 weeks. I have very little blood flow and what does come out is brown. I still have not passed the fetus. What is happening... is this a normal miscarriage?

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that what you have is termed a "missed abortion" or in other words a miscarriage that hasn't miscarried yet.  I would recommend a medication for you to take that would help you to miscarry sooner.  You might want to ask your doctor about it.  OR a D&C can be very helpful, especially when you are as far along as your are--that is a surgical procedure to clean the uterus--typically done with some form of IV medication or anesthesia.
Good luck!
