Hi,
My Husband had the exact same problem and I wanted to find out all the things we could try to help us conceive naturally before trying IVF or IUI so I suggested Acupuncture to my husband and obviously he was not keen at first but once we had gone to a consultation and got all our questions answered he came around to the idea!
Anyway, he had 4 sessions and we were told to get another seminal analasis done to compare to the last test, so we went off and did that and when the test results came back the jump up in the sperm count was amazing but not only that it improved the motility etc as well, so I feel really positive about ttc next time I ovulate... but also certain foods help as well, we were told caviar just a small spoonful every day and apricots, as well as zinc and selenium for the vitamin intake all helped...hope this helps you both and good luck

Hi!
The fertility clinic will probably examine your other half for any physical cause of a low sperm count. They will also take a history--hot tubs, boxers, etc. They usually want to repeat the semen analysis at their own lab, and based on that may recommend some treatments. They may want some additional tests, hormone levels, etc.
Proxeed is the best dietary supplement that I am aware of for men. You can buy it online. IUI would be a great idea for you two. Another option might be ICSI, but that may not be necessary.
You will speed up nature by going to the fertility clinic. It is possible to get pregnant without assistance, it just takes longer.
Good luck!
